The mission of the Cape Town Heritage Trust is to conserve the architectural, cultural and natural heritage of Cape Town and its environs for the benefit of the inhabitants of the City and of the nation at large.

Hout Bay & Llandudno Heritage Trust

The Trust was inaugurated in 1995 and was established to harness community participation in environmental issues which could not be addressed by Hout Bay's Ward infrastructure

Simon's Town Historical Society

The Simon's Town Historical Society was established in 1960 with the aim of collecting information and artifacts with a view to establishing a Museum in Simon's Town. This aim was realised and the Simon's Town Museum opened in 1977.

Muizenberg Historical Society

The Muizenberg Historical Conservation Society was founded by local residents in October 1984 with the main objective of protecting and conserving our heritage in the Greater Muizenberg area

National Heritage Council

The NHC distributes grants to successful applicants whose projects are promoting, protecting or preserving heritage. An amount of 8 million was distributed to submissions received from around the country.
